WORKS WITH PAPER
These works illustrate the joy of paper as it can become a seventeenth century collar or kerchief, a fossil bed, a seed-head, a lion, an ibis or a crucible. This may be in combination with thread, wire or wax. The Alchemic Inquiry and the Search for the Philosopher’s Stone is a cabinet of curiosities fabricated from cloth and paper which sets out to include the serendipity of paraphernalia employed in the endeavour to make gold.
